Default Simple ProECM installation question. Kinda urgent!!!

Are the installation instructions different for the version 2 chip, than for the version 3? (version 3 has a little screw on its side)

Kinda urgent because I already have my ECU apart so I can't go anywhere.

The ProECM had different versions?!

From what I can remember, the screw (flat and rubber) on the side if the chip is set for N/A applications by ProECM. I can't remember worth anything as to why it's preset and that we shouldn't mess with it unless we're introducing positive manifold pressure (Boost). But it's not to be messed with. Call ProECM and ask them.

Just found out that they are the same. Thanks kickin-it, but I'm cool now.

Yup!

But I wonder... how can we dial the screw to support boost settings? I'm not boosting at the time, but maybe Larry Ganz can hint on it if we actually need some screwing around with it. Have fun with your ProECM, Obyone.

I didnt touch the screw, but I heard (or thought I heard) that you turn the screw to adjust idling? I think thats wrong though.
