Default Anyone here have sound clips of equal length headers?

Hey guys,
I am really curious what an RS with equal length headers sounds like, i know its more tame than the borlas. I would ove to hear a sound clip of any equal length headers (Brullen, MRT etc). I know not many of you have them, but if you do, could you best describe the exhaust note for me (if you dont have a sound clip of course...)? I will eventually get a set and sell my borlas and I would just like to know what sound I should expect. Thanks guys!
Dan

I have a small mpeg that I took with a digicam of my exhaust sound. I don't know where I can host it though so if you want it then PM me and I could email it or something. The file is about 1 meg and kinda short but i think it gives a good idea of the sound.

If I can figure out how to do it, I'll try to save just the audio as a .wav or something.

BTW, I have a Brullen header & hi-flow cat, 2.25" Brullen cat back w/ Cobb intake.

ehehehe sounds like an in-line 4 cylinder now! If you want performance, it's quite nice! Sound, no need for equal length.

I got a custom straight-through "Bullet performance muffler" attached to my MRT, and it sounds really good. Very V8-ish w/ the deep rumble and tone. It's like a Magnaflow, but 2 inches longer. I don't have a digital voice recorder to record it though.

I bet Dans car sounds as v8ish as a v8 with his race cams, borlas, cat, and Stromung, lol.. Does it sound lumpy?

That's the same setup I have. How do you like it?

One thing I must add is that sound clip only shows what this thing sounds like when it's not under load. (On the road) Unfortunatly, it sounds ricey when it's under load.

I still need a resonator to try to get it to quite down some.

My car right now sounds v8 ish with a bad wheeze because of the rattling cat (new one comming next week).

Joe- Yeah, the car was very v8 sounding with the cams and heads etc, the cams gave the engine a good lumpy idle with a gurgly tone, even deeper than before, it is very cool sounding. when I had the loaner engine put in my car I always found myself wondering if its on because I couldnt feel any idle, i restarted it a few times while it was on too, just not thinking .

Subaru Stu- If you would want to meet that would be awsome! I am going to lachute next monday or tuesday to get my new engine installed (im using their loaner engine in my car right now). So after i break in the engine we can meet up, ill keep you posted.

Thanks for the sound clips guys, its nice to have an idea of what these headers sound like, so far i realy like it! Maybe with the cams the car will sound deeper in the vids, i dont want to lose that v8 sound, but the extra performance might make me get em...
