sti injector almost gone to hell, need help!

i installed the injectors today but as i pulled the rail up to take out the injectors, i guess i bent their mounting brackets a bit so the injectors after everything is bolted on is in the rail but if i press down it will pop out due the some slack. im not sure to do, does anyone want to make some money and make everything reliable again for me or know where ic an take my car to get everything double checked and fixed? i don't want to install my utec yet or anything else until i know my car can get me ffrom point a to point b for certain.

too bad you don't live up here, we could check it out for you. But i am sure there are several places (or people) that have lots of experience at it.

So when you press down on the fuel rail the injector pops out? Do both of them pop out or just one side? Try bending the rail back the other way. When I installed mine it looked like the injectors were not all the way in. You could press down on them and they will move a little but everything was fine. Also make sure the little black o-ring didn't get dis-lodged not allowing the injector to fully sit it it's place. Have you tried to start the car, did fuel spray everywhere?

exactly vrex, they don't pop out. the injectors can come out of the rail if i press down on them but shouldn't it be like no slacks o if i did push down, they would still remain in the fuel rail? it runs fine right now but im afraid it willc ome out

i dont think i can fix it but id just like to see what youre talking about
i wanna get some sti injectors too..

i put the utec in today, went wot at low bo ost and it felt pretty good so i upped the boost to 1.1 bar. wot f elt okay, on the way home, flashing cel. next comes funny idle. i check and the 1st cylinder injector popped out. man i need someone to fix my injectors. its b/c the fuel rail doesn't clamp the injector r eal tight to the engine block. now if someone wants to take a look and maybe fix it for me, i'm willing to pay. but if u want to help me out to be nice, i'll be more than happy and i'll buy you some lunch or something or give you money to buy some beer, liquor, whatever. lol so if anyone can help please pm me or aim me on instant messanger. thanx
