Thumbs up

VeryveryveryVERY cool!!!!

Thanks for the post and pics!

I think my first mods to the car would be STi front and rear strut braces, a full Group N bushing kit (including engine/tranny mounts and STi strut tops, since I think they're technically Gp.N. units), and maybe a Prodrive muffler.

Boy I wish I had money.

Booster,

In pics 2234 through 2237 with the STi on a lift it appears there is no undercoating sealant applied.

Can you confirm or deny?

Thanks!

I can pretty much say that the car is not undercoated. Most car companys do not undercoat their vehicles, certain parts yes, the entire thing no, as it would cost to much.

If I were you I'd look at what the car comes with before you go replacing things.

This thread is referring to the 2.5L USDM-spec STi8, not the watered down UK version

(Sorry, it just feels good to say that as we are usually the ones getting shafted on these types of cars)

I should have added congrats to Andy on the acquisition and that I would be very happy with the UK version at this point, especially with the Prodrive upgrade.

The waiting is just killing me.

Yes, 4k RPM+ = much fun.

Dont do it unless you are broken in though.
Dont want to ruin that amazing motor they have built there.

PS: drove the Turbo Baja today. Just as fast as a rex.
