Default Great Deal on a Jack.

I got a silver one, but the blue one is even cooler.

That is a nice jack. When I saw your jack, I said to Chris "man he must spent 400-500 dollars on that thing". Great Deal...

I've been eyeing those for a while. How's the quality?

C'mon. $169 is definitely a bargain, considering what your getting. As stated, comparable jacks are over $300.

Hm, I'm thinking group buy! We could probably get them at $159 or even $149 if we get enough interest!!!

no, this jack is a peice of crap.

it doesnt hold its height at all, and will constantly lower. it also makes creaking noises that arent too confidence inspiring. you have to run to get the jackstands under the car before it lowers too much.
bleeding the hydraulic unit may help some, but i lost the bleeder screw. come to think of it, could i borrow yours tim since you have one?

I'd call that defective and would be inclined to send it back. That's a safety problem and I'm sure Harbor Freight would replace it or refund your money.

How long have you had it?

For the people who aren't rich Craftsman has their 2 1/4 ton floor jack and 2 jack stands on sale for $27 right now. The one in fairoaks was out of them when I went in, but they wrote me a raincheck for it.

Mine works fine and holds great. Even held up the rear of the car for a good hour while I bled the brakes. I didn't have an extra set of jack stands

Evan, you're always so damn negative.

Thats blatant false advertisement damn it. I thought I was going to get a good deal on some Jack Daniels. You lied to me! And I could use some Jack Daniels about now.

I'm I the only one that noted the sarcasm in Evan's post?

yes. because there isnt any sarcasm in the post.
my jack is a peice of ass.

Im hoping bleeding it and refilling with jack oil will help it some, but even so, I would still not recommmend this jack. Is that being negative? eh. I dont think so. Im not one to praise a product just to justify its purchase to myself. I tell it like it is.

Jeesh Evan, Are you saying that I'm praising a product just to justify the purschase to myself? Yeah, well, sorry that yours doesn't work, but mine works great, and I think the 4 other guys that used it at VIR over the weekend can attest to that. Just telling it like it is.

Yeah, if you want to use my bleed screw (if I can find it), come on by any time.
