Default 1st proven win of STI vs. EVO

http://googlefight.com

The first decisive victory for the STI, as it trounces the EVO with 278,000 to 174,000..... not even close!

I am however sorry to report that RICE clearly beats NON-RICE by a margin of over 7.5 million

umm could it be because this is the STI forum, and it's about the STI?

(or was that a trick question?)

isn't it relevant that there are more available web resources about the STI than the EVO?

It's just another way of comparing a product.

(p.s. - relevant [16,300,000] vs. irrelevant [1,500,000] - relevant wins!)

Okay,
STI - 151,000 results
Pinto - 295,000 results
Clearly you've found a valuable resource for car comparisons.

Clearly you do not know the sleeper properties of the pinto and of course do not forget the infamous colt

Wow, I see where Eby was going but dlowman is right.

Until you have been to pinto races or see a real drag pinto you are missing out. These are very fast cars in accelleration, and dont handle half bad with some upgrades.

Imagine it on the level of the 93+ impreza with the turbo ej20, except the pinto is lighter and has WAY more HP and an insane increase in torque.......

For 1, I was obviously joking which it sounds like you realized.
For 2, dlowman was joking as well with reference to another thread.
For 3, you can make anything fast, Pinto's are pieces of $hit. You'd have some serious problems if you picked a pinto over an STI.

Hmm that's strange

I just entered STI and got 277,000 hits

Pinto only got 209,000

Unless the fundamental laws of mathematics have changed, 277K > 209K

Therefore.....

You're WRONG!

So if you don't consider a car that has a tendency to explode in rear end collisions a ****ty car, then what do you consider a ****ty car?

It's not a bug, it's a feature!

The fact that you'll go up in a ball of fire when hit from the rear saves you the embarassment of being pinned in such a horrible car for hours while they call in the jaws of life...

But the BMW 2002 has a similar problem, and its also considered a cool car. It will spray the passengers in the back seat with gas flame thrower style.

The Crown Vic has a similar problem, yet its also a cool car. I dont see why one issue automatically makes the rest of the car suck. If you worried about it and was racing one I dont think an aftermarket fuel tank would be out of the question.
