Default Idle Problem

I recently had some work done which required the removal of my engine. I had my local mechanic work on it and He did a great job, however now my engine is "hunting" for an idle. It jumps between 300 and 600 rpm back and forth. I almost think its a vacuum line problem for some reason.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggesions as to what might cause that...

Thanks
-Craig

Did your mechanic plugged in the MAF sensor correctly? Either it is not plugged correctly or it may be damaged.
Check the vaccum lines for sure.

are there any vacuum lines specifically I should check? I looked it over a little and it looked okay but im not sure exactly what to look for. I'll check the MAF now
