Post Blue LED Windshield Washer Nozzles

Has anyone else ever heard of these? I found them on E-bay and was wondering if they were worth the money. They look really cool, but I cant tell how much larger they would be than the stock nozzles. That would be the only thing I would worry about. I dont want something huge like that on the hood. The stock ones are so compact.

If you dont get what I am talking about- basically it is an aftermarket replacement for the stock windshield washer nozzles. On the front there are bright blue LEDs that can be wired to anything you want. Let me know what you think. And dont be funny and bid on it.

My friend put them on his 91 DSM AWD Talon. THey look pretty cool, especially with the blue strobe lights he has in the headlights. They took him about 40 minutes to install. But one of them burnt out after an hour. so that kinda sucks. I like them though. The other cool thing is that they are chrome.

your friends were chrome or the ones in the ad are chrome? When it burnt out was he able track down the problem? Like a short or something? Also, how large do they compare to the stock WRX nozzles? If anyone has a picture of them on any car installed, please post......

I think it would be cooler if they lit up the washer fluid stream when you sprayed your window.... I think I saw a RAV4 with a pair of these behind me on the road the other night. Looked pretty stupid.

I don't put any blue lights on my car after I got pulled over for it. In my old Accord I had Blue lights in the parking lights and got pulled over for impersonating a police officer. Had to goto court and everything. Pretty stupid Idea of making them on the hood now. HaHa if I got the red ones I would look like I was rushing to a fire. Who knows. Got fined too. It really blows but at least I didn't get arrested for it.

yup, having red or blue lights anywhere on the car is inpersonating an emercancy vehicle. At least in CA, the fines can be hgue, not worth it.

Yup, blue in front (or anywhere) is bad, plus they're skank-nasty r!ce mods. You don't want that.

I put them on my RS for a while....they looked ok...but the hood scoop got in the way so you couldn't see them all that good from the front. On any other car they are pretty nice. They are just about the same size as the stock ones and each one has two spray nozzles that you can aim and adjust. The one thing i liked about them was when you lock or unlock your car using the keyless entry they flash and look really sweet

I think the best point was made that aside from them looking stupid, unclassy and ghetto, the hood scoop on the RS blocks the damn things anyway )
