YEAH! Those indigo gauges would look sweet in my 93 Impreza. So is anyone out there going to make one or what? If so then you've got a buyer right here!

JC, you're a punk
I tore apart my dash today and realized that the bulbs are 194's if we could find some really bright ones, or cool colored ones, we might be able to pull it off

thats kinda what I thought, do you know a link on how to install them? and is it hard?Does anybody know if the frore mentioned gauges are good or do they suck, seems like a REALLY cool upgrade for those of us with 98 RS's can I get the exact same thing but have the speed go up to say 140 and redline changed to um ...7500?

I have the Initial K guages. The quality is really good and I am pleased with them. It took me and Joe (safir) a couple hours to get 'em in. It wasn't constant work though, I'd say it could be done in an hour if you knew what you were doing. It was hard for me, but I'm a mo-ron when it comes to these things. There are install instructions in the private classifieds forum in the first post by initial K.

I don't see why they wouldn't work for a 98. The 99s+ having white faces doesn't have anything to do with the install.

The fitment on the '98s won't be exact (most noticable is that the hole for the odo is too high). I've also heard that the hole for the peg that the speedo needle rests on may be off (from what I read in the k indiglo post).

If the indiglos don't rely on the stock lights shining through you should be fine. I just got white-faced covers designed for the 99+ and the holes don't line up exaclty with my stock lights. The 98's have lines every 2mph, 99+ just has every 5 mph. Also, the mph numbers, i.e. 20, 40, etc. are in a slightly different position on the 98's.

HTH,

Eric
