i suppose either or... although if you really look at them, they look very similar, however one has welds that are entirely visible, and one doesnt.

Why not buy a full catback system?

Two things and maybe more

1. both are neat looking but probably won't do a thing.

2. expect alot of trash talk about it

and one more... why not get a cat-back? you maybe saving money now... but with a full cat back you can save that 50 or 75 bucks to add towards your full system.

PS.

I'd do it but that's only because I'm broke at the moment and being a student anything will do... but I did hold out and waited... and found a great deal. Which I advise you to do, rather than buying it now.

Good luck with your choices

thanks for the replies!

No cat back for me because I dont want to lose torque. (I drive a RS), unless I change my headers etc..., which I dont have the funds now.

well, getting the replica mufflers (less $$) basically have the same performance as a brand name axleback (ie. HKS Ti , Blitz Nurspec...) correct?

I want a axle back HKS muffler, but its at least $300.

Suggestions welcome!

THanks

I'm not a fan of the style of muffler but there is no reason not to save a few bucks. As for the catback, I agree and disagree with your statement... a catback will help perforance, period. 2.25" unless you've done cams/turbo/sc and don't bother spending the big $$ for a bolt on. Have a local muffler shop bend you some pipe. The whole install should cost less than $100.
