Default 225/50-16 on a GC6 (16x7.5" rim)

How much camber or fender roll would I need to have to run SVX rims on my 2001 2.5RS? Their stock size is 225/50-16, 16" by 7.5" rims. They are the same overall diameter, 24.9" which is 829 rev/ mile, as the stock 205/55-16 which are the stock tire for my car. My car is lowered with H&R Sport Springs aswell.

Anyone lowered running wider rims?

Would going to a different series of tire help? These are going to be autocross rims/tires so dropping the gearing would be acceptable.

those won't lower your gearing.. You could run them on your stock rims if you wanted.

Do you know what offset the SVX rims are? 7.5" wide rims??? Where did you find that at? Do you know how much the rims weigh?

Thanks - Jon

Do SVX rims fit? I heard they had a completely different bolt pattern.

225/50/16 on 16X7 raceline RL-7 on a MY01 GM6

took it to the track yesterday and did not have any apparent rubbing issues. only thing is i am on stock springs and struts, so no lowering. I do have to run 3mm spacers in the rear to avoid rubbing on the strut.

Yea they wont even bolt up to your car, unless you had different hubs to convert it to what the svx has (114x5 I believe).

I got 5mm aluminum spacers from a local shop. They are kind of a semi-universal spacer but work fine. Cheap too...$12 for four.

same here - i have friends at the local tire shop.

BTW i only needed spacers in the rear, the tires were ALMOST touching the shock without them.
