Default Stolen Car NYC! (FOUND)

Good afternoon lady's and gents,

First and foremost I just want to apologize to all that have replied and attempted to help out. Sorry I did not update you on the plate number and everything as I have been very busy speaking with and doing paper work with the cops and insurance company. Also, I've been going to the shady collision/body shops around. My vehicle has been recovered but has been completely stripped and left abandoned on the highway.

My car was parked right in front of my own home located in Flushing, Queens with medium levels of traffic as there is a 24 hour deli nearby where many people go for breakfast. It was stolen in the morning time as well at 5AM where it was pushed by another vehicle before they started up my car because they knew it would be loud. I only worked a few blocks away and my brother came home 30minutes before the incident occurred, so they were either scoping out for a while or got very lucky on timing. Goes to show pathetic their lives must be to risk so much for a quick buck.

I just hope my loss can educate some people here to be wary and take extra precautions to safe guard their vehicles or really anything of value(motorcycle, bicycle etc.) left outside. It is never overdoing it when it comes to protection as you can see from my story, criminals are very brazen. I am not stopping here though, as I am still trying to inform police the best I can and going through my neighborhood asking for video with the homes who may have any security cameras. At this point, it's not even about the vehicle anymore, if I was offered my car back to the way it was or to lock these scum bags up, I'd choose the latter.

Thank you,
Wayne

Sorry to hear Wayne and I can totally feel you pain. I had 99% the same story as yours. Same town, same place (right in front of my house) same time frame (early morning and the car is gone when I woke up).... also recovered on the street and stripped down to almost bare chassis, no interior, no wheels.... Prob. same people did it?? Thief sucks....
