Does anyone here work for SOA? I just applied for a position there and if anyone has any pull and would like to help a fellow NASIOC guy out I'd appreciate it!

I'm also possibly looking for a entry level degreed mechanical or industrial engineer for a full time position in central NJ but I can't make any guarantees. We're not an automotive company but we (the engineering dept) like cars! We do deal with a lot of automotive assembly plants in the US as well as their suppliers.

Hi all.

I'm a recent graduate in Speech Communication with sales, retail, account management, and customer service experience. I'm pretty skilled with computers, and am able to communicate both verbally and through writing highly effectively. I'm located in the Ithaca area (Finger lakes region, think Cornell or Cortland) and would prefer not to relocate, but would be willing for the right position. I am willing to travel.

If anyone is interested, I can send a complete resume. PM me please for any other information.

we have a few positions they are looking to fill:

P/t Collections a/r position
Merchandising & import assistant
clicky here

all the other jobs listed are filled.

However, they recently fired our IT project manager as well so feel free to submit a resume for that. We could use all the help we can get for IT.

located in NNJ. Let me know if anyone submits their resume through monster- I'll put in a good word for you. (I also get $100 in incentives if you get hired and pass the 3 month probationary period )

i definitely meet all of the mentioned requirements and want to find other employment

I've been unemployed since January 2002; I've been doing misc. jobs on and off -- basically lots of side work. Currently I've been doing carpentry and electrical work. I have my apprenticeship for electrical got about 400 hours left on that, then I'm going for my license.. thats what I've been doing instead of my real cup-of-tea [so to speak].

My experience is:

Customer Service Rep (Inside/Outside Sales) 3 Years
Engine Building, Custom Car Creation 3.5 Years
Linux Admin 6 Years
Win 98/XP/NT/2k 6 Years
Computer Hardware 8 Years
Computer Software Configuration 8 Years
Creating 'Un-Canned Information' Websites 5 Years
Carpenter's Helper 3 Years
Manual Laborer 2 Years
Electrical Apprentice 2 Years

I'd basically fit perfectly into a level 1/2 helpdesk job; I am extremely organized and anal about my work. Drop me an email and ill send you a full resume.

Preferably in Connecticut. Will commute to Westchester County/NYC but thats as far as I'll go. Can't really travel when you don't make enough money for gas.

Point being, you name it; i'll try it. Looking for at least $10/hr. Last real job paid $60/hr but that was an international business to business directory [.com based and the idiot-stick who ran it squandered 30 Mil in 8 month].

Thanks For Any Help you can provide. Hell if you are local to me I'll even detail/clay-bar your car for a small fee.. build a computer for you, clean your attic, basement, mow your lawn, et al, I need money.. and no I'm not a poor college student; I worked instead of going to school; I just inherited a house and I cannot and will not stoop to the level of selling it [I've already sold my subie, my two other projects, all my parts, all my electronics, all my tvs except one, all my house plants, old furniture, hell even pulled up the tile from the bathroom and got a cheap thin pile industrial carpet for it, just so I can make money. I got WASHED OUT by the tax payment for the year at 5600 bucks.. Screw this fairfield county connecticut BS. The killer part.. its the smallest house in my town.. at just under 1700 sq ft.

Regards,
Gered

SUP all, I was terminated from mine, I worked for Kohl’s department store as Loss Prevention the job was cool but they did not pay what it was worth so that made it suck, on top of that they would bitch if I went over one hour of overtime I'm telling you I was stressed out. they owed me a review plus I had a another review in this month, the review is basically my job performance and ultimately led to a nice raise. it turns out that if I got my reviews I would have been making for then my supervisor. anyway I was terminated for a stupid reason, never given a warning never have been written up, Oh well I guess they did me a favor, F@$k'em

Is anybody hiring electrical engineers?
My friend in Israel has a 2-year engineering degree and an extensive experience with electronics gained at Israeli Airforce. He speaks English, Hewbrew and Russian. As an Israeli citizen he'll need the company to provide a working visa for him.

Thanks guys.
