Not sure if anyone here fits the bill, but I'd rather give the work to a local scoob first...

We're looking for IT/network engineer around Jersey City/Newark area for short term contract to take control of a potentially botched project and not only fix it but be willing (and able) to fix it quick (and by quick I mean within a few business days with a several week period of part time consulting/on call availability). Potential for FT employment if person is looking.

High level description: Internal 20+ client network being set up within government facility; candidate must have experience with server 2003, terminal services, demilitarized zones, multiple firewall configurations, vpn/remote access and be organized enough to take someone else's mess and not only make sense of it but visualize the path of least resistance to get the job done.

Major pluses: Experience with Papervision Enterprise, License 2000 and Sonicwall line of products.

PM if you got the goods...

I'm looking for side work/fill in work until January or so. I'm a highly skilled Carpenter in western Suffolk county with close to 20 years experience in all phases of high end residential work. I've also done my share of commercial work and I have experience with electrical, plumbing, masonry and HVAC. If anyone in the area has small jobs(or even a pretty big one) they need done or need help with I'll give you a good price. I need to make some money before my new job starts in January so this is a good chance for you to get professional quality work at a discounted rate. Call me with your needs and I could most likely be there the next day with my truck and tools. I am willing to travel within reason but please don't ask me drive too far for less than a full days work.

If you were closer, we'd have a job for you. Want to redo our small full bath. Complete gut job with some electrical and plubming, lots of tiling, and need a custom cabinet (because it needs to be small). We are up by Newburgh, close to 3 hours from you I think.

EDIT, holy crap at that member #.

Just thought I'd bump this again since I'm now actually back in the states. Hoping to have moved within the month - can anyone think of an industry I should focus on?

Hey everyone,

I'm a recent graduate as well from the Newhouse School at Syracuse. Looking to get into the Television/Film industry. I also have my own equipment (Canon VIXIA HV30, Senheisser Shot-gun Microphone, Tripod, Lipstick Cam, Final Cut Pro 6 and After Effects).

Getting into the TV industry is all about networking so if you know someone and wanna help out a fellow NASIOC member, that would be awesome. Here's some work I have done if you're interested in getting something shot and/or edited:

Default PSU student looking for Marketing/Management Internship (Allentown/Bethlehem PA)

PSU Student Seeking Marketing/Mgmt Internship near Allentown/Bethlehem, PA

Hey fellas I am looking for an internship position to fulfill my 400 hours (~10-12 weeks) for my degree. All I have remaining is my internship so working full time is not a problem. I have been going to Penn State for 6 years (2 in Computer Engineering, 4 in Business Marketing/Management) and now am ready to graduate aside from the internship!

I have a very strong computer background (building, repairing, networking, web development, graphic design, troubleshooting) and have run my own computer business for the past 8 years part-time throughout college and while in high school. This has been my primary job since time has not allowed me to work any full time jobs.

If you think you might have something in the Allentown/Bethlehem region or 30-45mins from there about please do let me know!

Wanted: Web Media Intern for Rally Team

Our Team: NCRALLY has been running events in the US since 1999 and currently runs an Open Class Subaru Impreza. The team is based in Glen Cove, Long Island at North Coast Subaru.

Our Goal: Full digital media coverage of the team's entry in STPR, including video, photo and text updates from the event using mediums such as a blog, YouTube and Twitter. To support this we are looking to create a professional new portal at www.ncrally.com with a new site to host team information and blog style updates.

Qualifications: Candidates must have experience with the above mediums, plus strong HTML, Flash and other web development skills, graphics and design experience (logos, banners, etc.), and the ability to integrate and troubleshoot. Candidates must also be experienced with rally and able to work closely with the team during a fast paced event, familiarity with STPR is a plus. You must also provide links to live website examples of your professional work. Being located close to North Coast in Glen Cove is a big plus.

Compensation: You will get a free ride to STPR, food and hotel covered, with a great fun professional team, and great discounts on genuine Subaru and STi parts.

Timeframe: Need to start work on the site right away, setup and test updates in all mediums, etc, under firm deadlines. Leave for the event as early as Tuesday June 2nd, returning June 7th.

If you have the qualifications, send us a PM!
