Hello all,

I am seeking employment and thought i would give the thread a shot. I am going to school and dual majoring in mechanical engineering and computer science and I need something to pay the bills. I am currently employed full-time at a major electronics retailer, and have been for the past 3.5 years and its time for something new. Im tired of the corporate retail world and im looking for a way out. I have a wide skill set and am a very fast learner. Seeking employment in the sussex or morris county areas. Currently enrolled at County College of Morris and looking to transfer to Ramapo College of NJ within a semester or 2. If anyone is hiring or knows anyone hiring for an entry level position PM me a job description and ill shoot a resume over.

Thanks,
Justin

Looking for something in sales, management or anything that's open for that matter.
I tend to stand out no matter what job I take on. I'm extremely motivated and ready for work! Even though I may not have the experience some employers may be looking for, I'm a quick learner.

Default Industrial Designer, Product Desinger, Graphic Designer, Art Director, you name it

I am about to finish my M.A in Design Management from Savannah College of Art and Design (S.C.A.D) with 3.9 GPA.
I am currently managing a group of students as a grad student for Johnson Controls Inc. that is all I can legally say at this point due to N.D.A contract.
I have a Bachelors of Industrial Design specializing in product design from Auburn University.

I am looking for my first career job. I have a lot more experience than your standard fesh out of college graduate, and I mean that. I am serious, professional, and willing to do what it takes to meet goals and deadlines.

I am currently working for SCAD running the Digital Fabrication Lab (Performance Companies, I do laser cutting, 3D printing, fabrication, you name it) I am also extremely proficient in SolidWorks, Rhinoceros, AutoCAD. My best quality as a potential employee is that I am a problem solver at heart, I like puzzles. I am that guy that takes the part of the project that other people can't figure out how to make it work and just pass it off.
I know Photoshop, Illustrator like the back of my hand, I could teach this and have to other students.

In my past I have done graphic design for companies, and I used to do Freelance for U-Drift of Las Vegas, doing automotive photography etc for marketing etc. I have been a Cartographer and drawn just about any map you can think of, and field checked some of the most rural areas you can imagine.

I am extremely passionate about the automotive industry and would love to apply my knowledge and experience. Know the saying that if you truly love your job it doesn't feel like work? That is how I feel about the automotive industry and that is where I would prefer to land. Even if its not directly automotive related, I am still very interested and want to put my hard earned education to work.

Here is my current resume.

Experience is more important than certifications. So the answer is no, certs are not mandatory.
