Default Any 15"X7" or wider rims that fit 02'WRX?

Like the subject says, I'm looking for 15X7 to 15X8 rims for auto-x use. I'd appreciate any info.

Thanks,
Andy

I thought that 15" rims will not clear stock WRX brakes.

I might be wrong...but you sould check that first.

I did a search, Volk TE-37's will fit but $$$$$$.
I was wondering if anyone had found anything else, or if Rota had started making a 15" that would fit.

Speedline 2118's will fit.
Are you sure you did a search?
There is another post about this same topic.
Anyways, they are 15x7 et53 and will fit all WRX's AND sti 4-pots.

Also look at Race Line RL7's. They clear the stock or 4-pot calipers in 15x7. Also, unlike most other rally wheels, they don't weigh a ton.

maciek: Many 15's could fit. The WRX brakes dont cause problem with the TOP of the caliper, but rather the face on most wheels.

The 2118's although nice, are a very hefty and stout wheel - not a good choice for auto-x'ing. However, if you were to do ice racing or a rallying....

Most of the 15" rims that fit the brakes are rally wheels (HEAVY)

The TE-37 is the only rim I know of that doesn't fit in the above category (but is very light and EXPENSIVE)

Rota made ONE model in 16" but that didn't clear 4 pots, only stock brakes. And I don't know if it's readily available. ALL their other rims with the proper offset for Subarus are 17" or 18".

Dunno if you've already seen this, but if you're looking for autocross wheels, you might want to take a look at this in Private For Sale.

Yes, the RL7s fit, but I beg to differ on them not weighing a ton. I weighed mine when I was getting ready to sell them - in 15x7" they weigh 19.75# each (on a calibrated shipping scale).

I now have 15x8" TE-37s that are an inch wider yet weigh less than half as much.

Pat, what brakes are you using with those?
I want to get 15's but rally wheels seem like the only affordable choice. Maybe I should just start saving up.

I've got stock brakes still, but I test fit the RL7s on a friend's WRX when I still had the wheels. And I know they fit the STi 4-pots, too - that's their big selling point.

I think I test fit the TE-37s on my sister's WRX, but I can't remember. I don't see why they wouldn't fit, though.
