Default Goof on Canadian microsite

This may be WTLW, but I just saw it. Anyone else notice the 17" disc brakes on the Candian STi ? That would be sweet (and heavy).

P.S. That is the sweetest microsite that I have seen for ANY car. I visit it all too often.

That is not a goof. The terminology of brake rotor size differs in other countries (Europe, Japan, etc). I am not sure what the exact reasoning is but I think it has to do with the minimum size of wheel you can fit over it. I prefer to know the actual rotor size though.

"minimum size of wheel you can fit over it" So then they are measuring the distance from the center to the top edge of the caliper? If so then the US WRX has 15 inch disc brakes

Actually the WRX/Legacy H6 brakes are considered the 16" brakes.

The Legacy/2.5 RS brakes are considered the 15" brakes.
