My Dealer Called Today

I got a call from my dealer today asking what type of wheels i wanted. I opted for the gun metal gray. Damn I forgot to ask if they were BBSs. Oh well. I also asked if he heard about a price and he told me 31,995 + freight = approx. 32,500.
Has anyone else heard anything on pricing yet? And do u know who makes the gunmetal gray rims?

I forgot to mention I am 3rd on the list and should receive the car end of Jun, beg of Jul. I cant wait 2-3 months...I WANT IT NOOOW!!

I have the same deal ($$) going on with a dealer here in Ohio.
I believe the 2 different wheel choices we have (gunmetal and gold) are made by BBS and are the nice lightweght ones that we will like.

I too must wait for a few months (3rd on list too) for the arrival of my silver Sti with gunmetal wheels. Is it a long and difficult wait? Yes. However I've waited for the STi for 2 years...I can wait a little longer.

is it BS when my dealer says to me "we cant really discuss pricing at all. we need to have all the info on the cars WE are getting" (they want VIN numbers)

what dealership gave you a price and everything. what can i say to MY dealership to get them to talk prices. what can i do to help my dealership become more informed. (it is sad when the comsumer is the dealers main source of information)

I'm not sure I said any magic words or anything, but when I first inquired about the STi, the dealer knew I was very concerned with the pricing. I guess it all depends on the salesperson/dealer.

I think thats BS about having the VIN. All of the cars are the same except for ext color and wheels. Your car wont be any diff from mine when it is sent from Japan. Now once the car is delivered to the dealer, they(dealer) may add things to it, I guess, although Im not sure what. Let me know what you all think about this too.

It will be interesting to see if the gunmetal rims actually come out gunmetal and not silver like they appeared in the SOA email survery a few months back.
