Try opening a new window, clear your disk and ram cache, then load the pic.

yeah i see those things on speedvision every week. at the risk of getting run off the boards by a real rally driver: i think that they must be a safety feature for spectators more than anything else. the cars run them during daylight and they don't look like they provide any real illumination. so my guess is that spectators can see them coming, through dust etc.
practical applications aside; yeah they would look good... |

to get info on the # of forward facing light are legal, as well as the Right order of operation at a stop sign, noise levels and all the other neato stuff they didn't cover when you were in drivers ed, go to the DMV (the place where you got your license renewed) and they *should* have a little pamphlet(sp?) covering all the laws of the road in your state. You can add up how many points you have, how long before you can get more...
At my DMV they had a little display, similar to the ones they have at Craker Barrel by the freeway on long drives. The display where they put all the brochures for log rides, wax museums, mamoth cave(they have brochures all across the mid-west)... The book was about 40 pages, smallish and white. As for the mirrors, those would look great, definately will turn heads... I want the exact same mirrors, sans lights. Similar to: http://216.242.153.40/MembersList/Vi...05&PicNumber=2 But I can't find them anywhere online. I'm sure I'm just looking in the wrong places, can anybody help me? I've checked all the retail links on the Sube-Directory with no luck... -Silas |

Yeah, the fenders do stick out, it's not a U.S. Impreza though, look at the lisence plates.
The other picture that is posted up is pretty funny. |

Someone posted something about this car before. I think they said it was a 22B bodykit on saloon WRX.
Personally, I like the Morette headlights, WRC style mirrors and the Speedlines (but I'd do them in anthrcite instead of gold)...huh...more mods to add the the growing list...I only got my RS a week ago...damn... -myk |

I know it's not a US model RS. What i thought was strange was that above the picture it says it's a Black Diamond Pearl RS

as my last post to this forum, yes it could be a us model RS, you can put on a widebody kit, swap the motor, tranny, blah blah blah and end up with a group A rally car, it's just a matter of how much $$$ you want to throw into it.
take it easy guys |

Thanks JC, I've been too lazy to correct the misunderstanding over what kind of car it is and where it is... So on and so forth.
Yes it is in my member profile because that's the only place I have to put it. I'll be removing it soon to replace with pics of the car I have. But the question remains; Does anybody know where to get those mirrors? -Silas |

That 2001 RS, if you look at the 4th pic from that link, has a "2.5 RS" badge on the back. It's a sedan. No wide-body kit, either. It'd be way more noticeable than that. If you look at some photos of the back quarter and front quarter panel of a 22B, the fender flares are much more pronounced.

you can get the mirrors from takakaira.com, click the subaru among the list of manufacturers, then subaru on the list of performance stuff.

Those mirrors with the lights are used specifically for Safari. but I have a set of the regular Prodrive mirrors that is normally seen at all the other events. They are CF with a plastic mirror which is a little flimzy. Not really a everyday useable mirror. For rally purpose, it serves its 20% rearview requirement by FIA rules. But they look awsome on my car. I paid $500 Cdn for them, so they are not cheap, for cosmetic purposes. I also have a set of Kevelar knock-offs. But the real CF looks 10 times better.
