Default Unreal Honda Accord commercial

http://home.attbi.com/~bernhard36/honda-ad.html

Everything was real, no trick shots. It took 605 takes to get it right.

Jim

Here's an article on how they made it...

Very cool if it's real. And I only doubt it because the part with the wheels rolling up the ramp just looked off somehow; they seemed to have more momentum than would be realistic?

Question

How did the wheels roll up the ramp? That's the only thing that didn't look real.

Nicely done, though.

Now where's my razor blade and a hot bath?

I think they had that wheel weighted so it would roll up like that. Like put something heavy on one part of the tire other tire knockes the weigh off TDC and the weight would force it to roll uphill like that.

That's the only way I could think that they did it...

What suprises me more is the fact that there are STILL people in this forum who say things like "cool, that was neat" etc.... HOW CAN YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS YET?! It's been posted almost every other day in this forumn for the last 2 weeks.

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught.
To say the things he truly feels;
And not the words of one who kneels.
The record shows I took the blows -
And did it my way!

Ain't no thang... Everyone eventually posts something someone else saw 1000 times.

I could have searched for "honda" and "c0ck" and read a bunch of kill stories and tapper threads...

unlike most people here who spend their whole day here, it was my first time seeing it and thought it was pretty cool. If you read the "how it was done" you'd know how they got the tires to roll uphill.

This is what happens when even an OT veteran takes a few days off here and there. It's exactly why I should go to work every single day (to be sure I don't miss anything in OT. )

if you are offended by being wtlw'd then you should not be in OT
as you pointed out everyone eventually posts soemthing that is wtlw, and everyone gets flamed for it
it would not be fair for us to not flame you because then it wouldn't be equal
