What's your favorite search engine that you use the most and why do you use it?

I love Google bacuse their search pretty much allows me to find virtually anything on the web.

google for images
yahoo for shopping
bomis for pr0n

also, BLING

EDIT: oh yeah, and OT Search function keeps me one step ahead of the web, because OT is the SRT-4 of keeping-up-to-date-thingies.

AltaVista for everything (except images = Google) because that's what I've always used. My friend introduced me to it. He also introduced me to teh best pr0n site EVER. Please let Me know if you're intersted...

google is the only search engine worth using, most other sites pay google to use their technology anyway, so you maight as well just use their site.

If you are looking for something obscure (like the model number of that 1970's receiver you dad owns), then AllTheWeb seems to be better as it has a larger database of pages. Google kicks its ass for accuracy though.

I used to be a Metacrawler junkie...but once I discoverd Google, I haven't gone back.

Although occasionally I will head over to Metacrawler and check out Metaspy...

Metaspy shows a list of things that people are currently using Metacrawler to search for. I find that interesting.

I also find paperclips interesting. Go figure.

Mainly I use google; it's the most accurate. Sometimes I also use Northern Light or Mamma.

I love metaspy simply because shiz like that comes up. Who'da thunk people search for stuff like that? Sometimes I try to imagine what the people on the other end are like...then I realize what they might be like, and I throw up.

seriously though... about "gay bestiality". if you're into banging sheep and such, is it really even worth adding the "gay" or qualifier?

"no, no, it's ok, at least he's not into GAY bestiality. that's just sick."

what the crap?

Dull answer: Virgin (same parent company as the airline) run the west coast main railway line in the UK.

At least, I hope that was what they were looking for.

Well "gay bestiality" obviously wasn't getting the right results because "men f****** animals" has just appeared.

If in doubt, be concise.

I used to be an altavista user way back when it was altavista.digital.com but over the years it tried too hard to be another Yahoo.

Once they introduced ads, I turned to the google-side and never looked back.
