Post It fits wagon, will it fit RS coupe?

This is SYMS wing. Obviously it is made for a wagon. Do u think it'll fit coupe? Or perhaps you know of another similar roof mounted wing made for a coupe.

Thanks.

Eugene

The drop in the shape of the window isn't the same on the two cars. It won't bolt on like it does for the wagon, but I'm pretty sure you could make it fit with careful modifying of how it mounts.

Exactly what Julian said... wrong angle for the coupe, but it could be made to fit. I've never seen any roof-mounted wings for an Impreza coupe or sedan though...

I would think so, but the edges of the wing in your pic, aren't touching the body of the car, so even if it was a bit off, it could still be made to fit.

it doesn't fit. the window on the OBS is thinner than the RS. I've seen it up close, doesn't look so hot. And no, North Ursalia doesn't have one...

Yes, actually Mr.NU has one he made himself.

Not bad work at all I seen it in person.

I just would really like somethign like that SYSMS peice or LEgacy one. I think it'll do good for cars aurodynamics while looking good. I know that MUGEN peices for Honda look REALLY good.

Eugene, it actually might fit- the OBS wing mine is based on is about 1 inch short on either side, because it was meant to go on the OBS glass only. That one is actually close to what I was originally looking for when I made my wing- it attaches to the metal pillar, not the glass. I'm certain the curve of the back of the wagon is different than the RS, and the mounting location would have to be changed on the wing to match the curve of the RS, but I think it might work. The STi Forester one will work as well... that one I've measured up.

Unhappy

IMPREZAmike--you can find that wing at www.spomotorsports.com. I'd get one myself but it's $573!
