Default Roof scoops and rear seat removal for PGT...

Page F103 of the latest Sportscar...2004 PGT proposed rules changes will hopefully allow roof scoops and rear seat removal. Hooray! I'm so lame...the primary reason I want rear seat removal is so my 10x10' EZUP tent will fit in the sedan.

A roof scoop would be really nice for the warmer events... let's hope the SCCA bar approves the changes. I think we can all agree that rear seat and roof scoop regulations in production classes are unnecessary.

well the roof scoop was up for a rule change in 2003 too...

it was declined by SCCA...

we'll see what, if anything comes of this.

We're in open because we needed a roof scoop! I bet we'll be the closest car to PGT in Open Class Rim! ;-)

Let's hope the SCCA changes the rules to allow at least a roof scoop! It's a health hazard not to have one in the car.

Cheers! John

Why don't you PGT guys just turn on the air conditioning?

Jamie,
We've taken a lesson from your experience last year at Rim. We installed a power steering cooler! :-)

It's going to be fun for us to come and play on your coast! ;-)

Cheers! John

Time to put Burnsie in Open Class! ;-)

I know Rim is known as a car breaker, but Maine Forest is also known as being notoriously rough as well, so we've got experience with rough!

Cheers! John
