Default HELP i think i broke my car

i have a 2000 2.5rs and from above 4000 rpms the car seems to jerk while accelerating. I have a borla cat back with 2.5inch piping and it pops while the car jerks. i had a diy intake on it, but after i discovered this problem, i took it off and put the stock airbox back on and reset the ecu, but its STILL doing it. Anyone know what it could be?

I would just go ahead and double check your sparkplug and plug wires just in case make sure they are ok. Also are you getting a check engine light?

Just search and do it yourself.. Its not hard to do any maintenance on a Subaru.. Buy a fuel filter from subaruparts.com, buy some NGK BKR6E-11 Spark plugs, your favorite oil and filter, and gear oil. Also change your PCV Valve and air filter or clean it if its a reusable one. Check the level of your fluids and tire pressure. Check your brakes too..
