twotacosfor99cents,

did you happen to see if the guage lights had a dimmer or on/off switch at all?

I don't think it's that bright in person.

When I installed reverse indiglos on my prelude, it looked so bright when I took a picture of it, I had to set it to the dimmest setting so it looked right on the picture. (digi cam)

Yes, there's a dimmer. If you turn it up or down, it displays it in the right LCD as ILU-1 to ILU-9.

These gauges are bright because I set the camera to take a 2.5 sec exposure for added brightness.

And yes, I do have a 1600x1200 version.

Enjoy

I like how in the video, the Pink STi logo comes on last.

Very, very nice.

Quick question... Why in the JP video is the redline 8k and ours 7? Is this purely our 2.5L vs. their 2L or is that a special Sti version for JP?

Not complaining just curious.

there's 2 ways to get more hp...more torque, or more revs. with the extra torque of the 2.5, the engine doesn't have to be tuned for as high of a hp peak.

Those gauges startup very similar to my Defi BF series gauges. The dashboard and a trio of BF Gauges all starting up together would look sooo nice.

I have the BF gauges, now I just need the STI...

what's even worse is the ugly green OEM boost gauge that the port installs.

it goes on the left side of the steering column and blocks the outside temp gauge... GRRRRRRRRRRRR

on a side note, i think i will take out the starting sweep function. i figure everytime it starts up, it sweeps. but that is just one more thing to break over time...
