Thumbs up Hankook Ventus K104

FINALLY got tires for my Rota Battles. After much delay I decided on Ventus K104 in 235/40/17. I chickened out of the 245/40/17s since I haul around kids...big kids.
My initial impression is that I'm very impressed. I was a little apprehensive about harshness when I saw "Extra Load" on the sidewall but the exrtra-stiff and shorter sidewalls didn't noticably affect the ride and the tires are not loud, even on a stretch of textured concrete road they were fine.
I haven't thrown it around any corners in the dry yet but wet tration is awesome.
Two thumbs up for the K104.

Glad you got them on. I'll have to check them out sometime soon. Maybe at the meet this weekend!!

Don't judge the inital break in for your noise just yet... let them break in first.. then see if they're noisy.

I might be sporting some Speedline Supertursimos later this week... they're not mine, but I'm 'holding' them for someone. I think the gold will look very nice on my car

So once you get them broke in.. I'd like to take them for a spin & see how they grip. Did you by chance weight or get weights for the tires?

Thanks - Jon

You know Jon, I thought about weighing the tires on the way down to get them mounted but I was too damn anxious to get them on that I didn't.
When I install the brake lines I can get a weight for the tire and rim together. Then we should be able to find the weight for a 17" Battle.

Yes that will work. I have weight info for the battles.. I'd like to weigh my wife's battle with her Kumho 711's to compare as well.
