if you are changing the studs you can change the thread pitch to something more common like 12 x 1.5

Some rally shops in the UK sell longer 12x1.25 studs, or you can get NISMO ones (Nissan performance brand) at most Nissan dealers. You are better off however getting ARP 12x1.5 ones and just getting new lugnuts, they are much cheaper.

sorry, but the ARP ones do NOT fit. the honda versions are WAY too small at the knurling, and the only other 12x1.5 avaliable is with a 0.658? knurl which WILL press into the subaru hub, BUT the knurl length is 1/2" too long, so you will either have to machine each stud down to size, OR bore out your brake disc holes and/or spacer and wheel holes.
but machining the bolts are pretty easy since I've got access to a lathe, so I might have to get those, or order them form teh UK. NISMO studs I have heard will fit, but they cost an arm and leg... $60 for 10, so $120 a set!!!! OMFG... yet another option is to bore out your hubs and use studs w/ larger knurling... hey, anyone interested in a a group buy of studs form the UK>??? |
