Question Edmunds has this to say .. What does it mean ?

The DCCD system allows the driver to manually select the front-to-rear torque bias or merely set it in automatic mode and let the computer do the work. Further on down the line, the STi is upgraded with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential in front and a mechanically actuated limited slip in the rear.

-- so the initial batch wont have all the goodies ?

It comes with those as well.. Just means further on down the line in the drivetrain. DCCD is in the middle.
