That car was ugly anyway. The SSR is the Chevy retro vechicle. $40k is a bit much for that beast.

The title of that thread sucks. There was no way to tell it was the same car. This title is much better.

A guy at work owns a yellow one. Course, he won it from the dealership during their giveaway last summer. He paid around $11k total in taxes/gift tax/etc. Good price to pay for something like that...

The new T-bird is a chicken. Their was nothing attractive about the car. The plymoth Prowler at least looked good and the Chevy SSR has power and is meant for a limited run.

attention will be focused on their NEW image car.

Well, call me weird, but I like the T-Bird. At least I like the looks. I think it's cool.

But it ain't worth the asking price.

I guess their plans of using nostalgia to steal money from 50 year old men didn't work.
Oh well, back to the drawing board...to unsuccessfully revive another classic design.

Anybody see the latest numbers for the Mercury Marauder? Supposedly Ford thought they'd sell 20k of them and only ended up selling 2900 of them. They prolly would have sold a lot more of them if they had actually made it affordable. Right now you can get an STi and some mods and it'll be a helluva lot more quicker. Ford's been stinking it up lately.
