Default Anyone have a UNICHIP Wiring diagram for WRX?

Hey,

I am looking for the ECU wiring diagram for the Dastek Unichip for a WRX. Anyone have one...or a link to one that is scanned, etc???
I already have my own pinout reference for the WRX ECU...I just need to know what color wire on the UNICHIP goes to what wire on the ECU...

Any help is appreciated.

FYI, Vishnu wires the Unichip for MAP based tuning while Cobb/FIS/TXS use TPS based tuning. You'll need to make sure any maps that you load take this in to account.

Thanks Jason. Yeah, the one that I currently am 'testing' was tuned by Cobb (before they blew town) and for the same mod/setup I currently have. I will probably swing out there sometime soon and visit that dyno anyway...I know there are some of us Tarrant County guys that would like to dyno their cars anyway, so it will be cool either way.

Thanks again for the FYI...

If you are going to use a Cobb map then you will need to wire the Unichip differently. Shoot me your e-mail address and I'll get you the right diagram.

Anybody have one for a TXS unichip wiring harness.

I have an A/F gauge spliced to the front o2 sensor on my stock ECu harness. Do I need to move it and re-splice it to the corresponding wire on the harness? I am not sure where that is at, that is why I need the diagram

Thanks

A wiring diagram for the unichip probably comes on some sort of scroll or perhaps carved in a slate tablet . sorry to be a smrtarse and of little help, but it seems to me with all the nearly free opensource tuning options the unichip is best served as a paper weight or in some sort of car tuning museuem

wow talk about a thread from the past.

unichips are pretty much history. i would highly recommend that you look around for the plug and play harness that came out about a yr after the unichip took off in popularity.

TurboXS was the only one who made that plug n play harness at the time but im sure they have totally abadoned it since they went with the UTEC.

i would suggest that you NOT cut into ur ECU harness to put it in the unichip. there are alot of better engine management tools out now.

if you're in austin, i'll just give you my old TXS harness, then you don't have to cut anything. BUT, the others are right, you shouldn't even bother..
