Put down another sti deposit today

I put down a $500 refundable deposit last week at my dealer and was 23rd on the list

And because of that I didnt think I would get my car till october.

Anyways today I went to another dealer put down a $500 deposit there and Im #2 on the list

Its a rather large dealer too so I should have my sti in the first or second us allocation. So there is still hope for people out there who havent gotten on a list yet. You just need to look for dealers that werent taking deposits untill they knew the msrp for sure.

Wow, must have been at WHS first and that new one (Gillman?) at 59 and the BW second, am I right?

No. First was gillman south (59 and bw8) They have been taking deposits for some time and I was 23 last week.

WHS and Gillman north just took a list of people who were interested and said they would contact us when they are ready to take deposits.

Lucky for me I think gillman north just emailed everyone who was interested at once instead of going in the order that they signed up. So I called Pat Clausen this morning and asked him what the list was up to and he said only one, so I left immediately for gillman north

which is off 45 on rankin road.

As far as I know west houston subaru is still not taking deposits, at least they have not contacted me yet so they may be waiting till may 1st. If whs contacts me and the list is at 1 or 2 I will probably put a depostit down there too since non of the dealers are sure if they will get any sti's on the first shipment much less how many. They told me 600 will be distributed across 300 dealers but they dont know if it will be even or based on sales etc...

it is absolutely amazing to me to hear it when people say they are like 26th in line..i think that is just so cool that that many people will wait in line for this car...it makes me grin..

God this thing is going to be beautiful...good thing i got to my dealer early...lol, didnt mean to rub that in at all

I have the 1st depost a WSH. I was told by Billy that they only allowed 8 deposits as he claimed that all they are getting this year.??? I am however the only one he said getting the car at MSRP and I do have it in writing. I did place my deposti about a year ago.
