Default Greddy/Cusco Oil Catch Cans

Anyone have either of these products in their engine bay along with a FMIC? If, so are they effective in keeping out sediments? The Greddy Can looks like a great product, I wonder how difficult it is to install. Thanks for the feedback guys!

I dont have either of these, but I've been researching both and both come with hoses that are too short if you mount them in front of the battery. Neither has a "baffler" which supposedly gather oil particles much, much better. The better oil catch can seems to be one made by AVO. It costs about $190, though. It has that baffler and comes with everything you need( proper hose lenghts, elbow hose, t-hose). Only negative is that you need a smaller battery or it will be REALLY tight and up against the headlight. http://www.spomotorsports.com/Catego...stomerID=81647

Check this site out for the AVO catch can

I have the Greddy in mine. Seems to filter out quite a bit of stuff. I empty it with every ooil change. Kinda hard to route the tubing (gets tight in there with the TMIC), but very possible. I will post a pick as soon as I take it (20 mins). Its not very expensive, so I would do it, the more crap you can keep out of the combustion chamber the better (eventhough they do say it may void the warranty).

heres a picture, I just made a bracket so I could stem off the extra mounting hole for a larger TMIC.

the hose it came with was metric, but I found that 3/8" ID hose fits perfectly. At least those are the size T-fittings I used to be able to filter all the blow-by gases.

Hers the info on the one I got:

Greddy Universal Oil Catch Can (P/N 12003510)
-10 AN (15mm OD) Hose (but it seems 3/8" ID Hose is close enough to 15mm).

Hope this helps
