Default Looking for answer on SSR/TEIN/GY225/Wagon specific set-up.

I searched.

Has anyone had problems or praises of this set-up:

Wagon
TEIN Flex
17" SSR Comp
GoodYear 225

I want to know if I need to roll the fenders or not from someone who has this set up.

I'fe got Flex, SSR Comp 17, and HTZR-II s in 225/45 but in a sedan.

If you drop too much you will rub, so it depends on how low you want to go.

I'm down 1" in front and 1.5 in back and have no problems.

Thanks a lot, closest set up I have seen. Unfortunately hard to tell from sedan to wagon. Envision no wheel flares but just little bumps think they would still fit? I would probably be more like .75" front and .90" rear.

225's fit fine on my wagon but can't run the rears lowered into the weeds. also helps alot to crank in some real camber.

But for god's sake don't buy goodyears. Worst damn tire company this side of firestone. Try Khumo 712's or MX's. Cheap and good.

True, I've got the 712s on the P7s and they are a fine value, good in the wet too. Break away is not abrupt, but you know when you are at the limit, feels a little greasy.
