Default Pulling a CEL?

Ok, as I don't want the Autozone monkey messing around with my car, how and where do I find the ODB-II hookup in the impreza RS? I checked the net, but couldn't find anything.

Cheers

Will

There should be a little access door on the left side of the steering wheel, or it should be directly under the dash.

Gotta remember OBD2 was introduced for emissions purposes & testing.....so the placement of the connector must be in a place that testing facilities can easily access it.

Do you have an OBD scanner? Look at the connector (it will be long and fairly thick). Play hide and seek under the dash on the driver's side. It shouldn't take you long to find. On my Forester it is near the hood release lever and below the coin tray (left side of steering wheel, as Josh said).

under your steering wheel, to the left slightly. it is recessed inside the dash. just run your hands down there and you can feel the hole and the connectors.

If CT is your real location ( ) try posting in Tri-State. There are quite a few of us there with scanners and chances are someone near you has one and can pull the code for you.
