Default WRX/RS Hybrid-Crossmember Question

I have a legacy turbo crossmember (i think) that I have installed in my '99RS so I can use the up/down/turbo setup on my car. The problem is that the RS front swaybar will not fit.
I have the stock center mounts that work (the tabs/holes match) but the sway bar hits the dent for the uppipe (my crossmember only has one dent) and will not fit. If you put it in upside down, it will fit....but obviously that is not an option. Does anyone have a picture of the WRX front swaybar installed or off the car? I am running into lots of little snags on this project....big shock there, eh?

Try just putting a Wanted ad up in the Wanted Classifieds for a WRX front sway bar. I'm sure someone has upgraded and you can get theirs for a decent price. I *think* it should work, but don't quote me on it.

I had heard there were fitment issues....but that it was just in the center mounts....never anything about clearance problems. I am hoping to finish this little escapade without too many more "surprises".

last week i installed the wrx crossmember on my 01 rs and the stock bar will not work. You have to use a sway bar off a WRX wagon. The sedan and wagon bars are slightly different, and the wagon is the one you want, i purchased a 22mm bar made by whiteline for $120. bucks from Exeter Subaru in NH. It fits perfect.
