Default Yokohama AVS ES 100 - best deal?? Opinions?

I've got my 17 Rota attacks on the way and now I need to wrap them in something. I was considering the Yokohama AVS ES 100's in 225/45 - 17's. Does anyone know where I can get the BEST deal on a set? Any reasons why I shouldn't go with this tire?

Thanks!

Alot of my friends have been buying these instead of the kumo 712's ( I think they are similar price) and they seem to like them alot. And they hold up pretty good for auto-x.

i just bought a set of AVS ES100's, should be here mid week. tirerack has good prices and you can get them drop shipped to a place to have them mounted so you don't have to load 'em up and bring 'em yourself!

hey chris, give cains tires a call.. they are located in central san rafael on 4th street.. i bought and had them install some falken azenis.. it might be cheaper to buy/mount tires locally then having to order online/pay tax/shipping/etc and then getting them mounted.. tire shops tend to charge more $ to mount tires that are not bought from them.. good luck

actually sales tax can not be charged unless the on-line company has a sales presence in the state where the tires are delivered to

Tire Rack also has a list of tire mounters in your area and trust me, I got mine for $9 dollars a tire!! (Mounted and balanced!)

Try em!
