Default I need to find a good installer around Boston!!

Hey guys,

Since I am not as resourceful and knowledgable as it appears many of you are, I am going to have professionals install the new gear in my new 04WRX. The install should include 6.5" components in the front doors with surface mounted tweeters; 6.5" or 6X9 speakers in the rear deck, if possible; 2 amps in trunk; and the sub(s) in the trunk--I am willing to have someone who KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING cutting holes, etc. But I had bad experiences with Boston Tweeter and know that people tend to cut corners. I am also putting a head unit in and a CD changer.

Any suggestions?

Whit

I had a 4 systems installed in the Framingham tweeter. MArk in the mobile dept. took care of me, as well as the installers. I am having another system & navigation installed in my Audi next week there. I give them an A+

I had 1 issue and they resolved it, no questions asked.

Yeah, I shopped there once and remember Mark, but never had any install work done.

Anyone know anything about Rick's Car Stereo in Watertown?

Thumbs up Another recommendation

Doug at the Tweeter in Burlington.

He's a master installer: very fast, tons of experience and an artist with fiberglass

Tell him Jason Marotta sent you.

Rich's Car Tunes in Watertown is the place to go. Outstanding work. They charge a pretty penny, but you get what you pay for. They work on LOTS of exotic and high end cars.

Thanks guys, the information really helps.

Is anyone going to object to putting my 5X7 JL speakers in the rear deck, I would hate to see them go with the Mustang I am selling, when I get the 04WRX next month?

I've been to AutoCoustics on Route 1 in Lynnfield (on the Saugus line) a few times. Decent prices and nice guys. Did a pretty nice job on my 4Runner a few years back. Of course since then I've learned a few things about car audio and do it myself now.
