Talking Which tool to use to cut a urethane greddy lip?

I need to cut a STRAIGHT line piece out of a urethane greddy lip, but the edge has to be straight and not rough, paint should remain in tact. Obviously I can't use a dremmel or a hand saw.

Which tool can be used to cut in a long straight line, perfect sharp precision?

Someone suggested I go to HOME DEPOT and ask the guys to use a "diamond cutter" on it.

Is that true?

Seeing that my Greddy lip was like peanut brittle I'd just try a quick karate chop!

buy a hot knife at hme depot or any other place like that. its basically like a soldering iron except it has more of a blade. once its warm it cuts like butter. we used it to cut abs plastic when making monitor and dash kits. try that . to not crack the paint get a heat un or lay it in the sun so it gets pliable. hope that helped.
