Default Silvia swap progress

Well, I'm in the middle of the swap now... We've pulled the SR motor and stripped the front clip to sheet metal. There are lots of leftovers is anyone wants anything. I also found out that I got a KILLER deal on the front clip. I was draining all the fluids from the SR and the tranny had this light green fluid that looked brand new. We pulled the tranny off and found an O.S. Geiken Super Single clutch/flywheel combo! It needs a new disc but I'm going to get my buddies to get one from Japan and keep it as a backup. We also pulled the valve cover only to find HKS 256 camshafts! I cracked the ECU and found out that it is socketed, so it has a tuned rom as well. All the stuff that is came with is probably 5K worth of mods. It had an HKS GT2530 ball bearing turbo, HKS intake, HKS iridium plugs, Nismo 555cc injectors, A metal headgasket, and a badass ARC catchcan that wont fit in a usdm car. I dont even know if the motor is built, but I doubt it- the head isnt ported or anything. Now on top of those mods, it has a tubular exhaust manifold, Greddy intake plenum, Greddy racing oil pan, Greddy emanage and I decided on a boost controller- Greddy Profec E-01 which will work with the emanage and greddy gauges. It should be pretty fast, hopefully the compression checks out like I was promised. The plugs were all black with soot which makes me think he might have added mods after the tuned rom was installed or that whoever tuned the rom pulled a Jim Wolf and made it super rich to keep him from blowing it. It should be pretty fast when it's all running and I'll hit the dyno and get some numbers after about 400 miles and some fine tuning...

Thanks guys! I know, I've been super lucky, certainly in my life and with this find, and I am thankful. Yah, I have been taking pics of the progress, just keep leaving the camera at Bedford House Racing. Id really like to thank Petrol and my buddy Eli as well as all my other friends for their help- Happy B-Day Petrol too! I'll have pics up soon... Oh, and there is a good chance of a feature of the Silvia in Super Street, but that's still in the works... Hey, Kevin- why dont you make a thread of your project?

Intercooler? I read nothing of an intercooler. Anyways, the intercooler that was on the car got smashed, the mangled endtanks were the only things left attached.

I forget what model car the engine was from, I suspect an s13.

He has a FMIC on the black 240/Silvia...it just isnt viewable in these pics...

The FMIC that was on the white Silvia was indeed crushed...only some razor shards of endtanks left. The white clip is from a later model 180SX --JDM Stylee--

No, we arent the Icy Hot Stuntaz Just a scary resemblance...
