Post Difference between 22B, Ver.5 and Ver. 6 spoilers.

I can't seem to find exact differences between these spoilers. Here is a link to a pic of my car http://216.242.153.40/MembersList/Vi...06&PicNumber=1
I got it from the dealership that way so I don't know exactly which one I have. All it said on the invoice is spoiler.
Maybe someone can post pics of each different one.

Thanks,
Stefan

I dont have pictures, cause I havent gone collecting the 3 different types, i know which kind i want

22B: the sides off the wing are straight, much like the stock 2dr RS wing... they come up higher, but the cross beam is adjustible to a ton of settings for different pitch... a cool thing if thats your bag

Ver5: what you saw on the '99 I believe, WRC car.. not sure about the model year. The wing gives the back end of a car a wider look, as the wing bows out in the middle and comes way heigher than the stock RS wing. this is a two piece wing that splits on the sides.

Ver6: just like the ver5, but a single piece wing with a MUCH greater pitch on the cross beam.

So if mine is adjustable does that mean it's a 22B wing.

This guy has a 22b replica, and it looks a lot like the one in your pic. The fact that yours is adjustable means that it's almost certainly a 22b wing.

I was told that the real 22B wing is not adjustable, anyone know if that is true?

The authentic 22B is most certainly adjustable. As for the differences in wings, click the link in my sigfile, go to "All Modifications" and then "Wing Comparison Pictures." I've collected rear and side shots of most of the rear wings out there.

Here's your solution (?????):
22B Adjustable wing: Higher than the WRC wing so you can see through it from the rear view mirror.
WRC Wing: A little lower than the 22b, because it is used for the rally only. No need for safety requirements here
Tony.
p.s.: I have the 22B OEM wing

Impreza25RS, thanks for the comments on freeskiing. I sure love having AWD when we get a ton of snow knowing I can get there without any problems. This was my first winter with this car and compared to my 94 Toyota Corolla that I used to drive, there is no way I will be going back to front wheel drive. Subies Rule

T-Wrex, where did you get an OEM 22B wing? Do you have pics? and how much? This is a big deal...you are one of the few, if not the only one with an OEM!

We're listening...

thanks to North Ursalia, check out: http://members.nbci.com/_XMCM/northu...ings/wings.htm

hella gal-

it looks like your V6 is actually the "STi Titanium", same one that is on the "electra" freak show .

V5:

V6:

the V5 and V6 are not the greatest of pics (especially to show off the wings ) . the difference between the V5 and the V6, is the V6 flares at the end of the blade.

-wop

EDIT: OOOPPSSS. hella gal, sorry the pic you posted was some STi freak show , but was not the one on the electa . sorry.

EDIT II: hella gal, some pics of the s201 "electra" have the wimg you posted some do not, hmmmm...
