Default Bridgestone RE070s

I'm trying to find info (in English -- what I've found is [I think] in Japanese) on the RE070 that will be coming on the STi.

Just for the sake of the info at this point, but ....

if you can't find info I assume it wouldn't be possible to find the tire either .... which means a damaged tire would require purchase of a full set?

Doesn't sound right ... hope I'm missing something.

I am sure if the STi does come with 070s here in the US, Bridgestone will put that on their website soon, and you will be able to order them from places like Tirerack. Don't worry.

I agree, Ray. But I am interested & wonder what the specs are on the tires, reviews, design, all that good stuff.

Don't expect many info on these OEM tires. For example, on Bridgestone's US website, all you get from the 010, 040, 050 pages are the sizes and specs, no description at all.

So I tried a search on the Evo Yokohama shoes; same deal. JDM only tire. Well, we'll be evenly matched on tire wear costs, too!

I don't suppose TireRack will start selling these? Ppl are saying it's a dealer-only item, and that reminds me of the 700 bucks "wheel options" we had before.
