We keep a spreadsheet on excel with each fill up for all 4 cars, including drive type, gallons used, miles driven, dash calculated average, hand calculated average and on the F150 we calculate average speed based on time driven/miles driven.

Looking at the spreadsheet, my best is 27.1 with my wife commuting the WRX to work, mostly freeway, 60mph stuff.

Worst is 17mpg, that was me driving it to work, all city. Average is mixed city/hwy at about 22.6 mpg

Best - 27mpg
Worst - 22mpg (until I fill the tank again anyways)

I've only had the car for two weeks so I expect to see some tanks that are much much lower.....

-Best=28ish, been to 30 but that was not consistent enough through most of my ride
- worst= 8? going WOT otherwise in the city its arount 16-18ish.
Overall=21.3 avg but if i drive nicely without any spirited driving to school its about 22

I didnt buy my car for the mpg but i do wish subaru could get a bit more out of it. i was hoping around 20/27, maybe the 2014 will do that, oh and i want a nicer stereo system, oh oh and a Dual Clutch System, ohhhhh and a Twin Scroll Turbo!!!!!!! most of which they did on the 2014 forester i cant waitttttttt

Best: 26 mpg.

Worst: 8. I was bringing my car back from Seattle and it was sputtering and dying all the time and shooting black smoke and I couldn't figure out why.

Turns out the by pass valve keep coming loose.

Best: So far about 21 mpg, highway driving, no roof rack, 1000 mile break in period
Worst: 15.2 mpg, rush hour stop and go, cold weather, snow tires, roof rack, and ski rack (just took them off, decided not to keep them on full time this winter so noise should go down and we'll see how mpg improve).

I track each fill up on my iPhone, well that was until my kids gave it a bath. The best I have got so far is 31mpg cruising on the hwy for 160 miles. The worst I have pulled is around 16, and that is when I'm playing with the car.
