Just got out of the 7:30pm showing with Christine, we went to Chunky's in Pelham, NH. I'm a comicbook nut so we had to catch opening day. Conveniently though, she loved the first one and was excited about "X2," too!

LOVED IT. L-O-V-E-D it! VERY good movie!!! A great "second act" in traditional form, with all the love and plot twisting; Nightcrawler was a great and genuine addition, grounding the movie at times when needed, too. I was bummed that Gambit wasn't in this one, for you other X-Men fans, but if you watch the scene where Mystique breaks into the computer room, "Remy LeBeau" (Gambit's real name) flashes by on the "list of mutants."

I hear he'll be in the next one. We'll see.

Great action scenes, some KILLER fights, good humor, lots of great, subtle flippant remarks (and a great flipping of the bird from Mystique!!)......

Yeah baby.

did you catch the outline of the black phoenix at the end hehe you know there is a 3 for sure. OOH I cant wait to see how deep in the xmen 3 characters list will go.

My list of future poeple will have to be
1) Gambit
2) Juggernaut
3) Cable
4) Bishop
5) Sentinals?? some how
6) Beast
7) Apocolypse, that would be very interesting
8) obvious the Black Phoenix which we know is gonna happen
9) Jubilee taking a major role would be col
10) Sinister

My list of ten

!!!! I completely forgot about phoenix! That's relieving...

Who thinks mystique makes the best girlfriend? Wolverine is dumb for passing her down. She can and WILL be any woman u want in bed and she just wants ON! That scene rocked haha

There were a lot of things that were way out there, though. Even though this is a comic book, what’s the deal with the mind control potion? I didn't catch the story behind Stryker's son there. Also, I doubt Prof. X should be powerful to do all of that all at once.... seems more realistic to do it to an individual at a time... but even so, that is way too much power to be able to perform it remotely. I guess it went through ok for the Hollywood style though.

Sadly, I was hoping to see Wolverine rip up some Sentinels. Having those giant robots would have put the movie into a much better perspective and things that seemed almost preposterous would have been right at home. Oh and what about Sabertooth!?!?!? Or what about the other mutants that were related to that factory? Sure that was a great fight scene at the end, but it strayed from the comics a bit I'd say.

Overall, well worth my 2+ hours!!! Always great to think of what it would be like with special powers eh?

Just got back from seeing!

WELL WORTH SEEING!

Not even a fan of X-Men and I thought it was really good.
Special effects were also great!

Much better than the first one IMO

Thumbs up

It's not supposed to follow the comic too closely.

That said, great movie! When Wolverine first took out his claws and started fighting the soliders everyone in the theatre started cheering. They were really into it - it was great!

I JUST got back from seeing it! It doesn't follow the comic that well, but I thought it was freakin awesome! Definately WAY better than the first one!
