Default DO I NEED different lugnuts for rota battles??

Before anyone askes i did a search and i coldn;t find a deffinante answer. So do i need different lugnuts. I want to get my wheels on tomorrow but i will have to wait if i need lugs. Thanks

Thumbs up I'd get them...

... just in case.

The stock lugs are short, and you'll need a thin-wall 19mm socket to get them out.

If you get aftermarket lugs, they will probably come with some sort of "key" which will 1) act as a thin wall socket, 2) act as a theft deterrent and 3) will most likely have larger contact area where the lug meets the wheel.

yes yes yes
they have a different pitch angle. If you torque down the stock ones you could crack the wheel

can you explain this a little more? I installed my battles with oem lugs and they seem fine.

Should I change them?

All acorn-style lugs have the same pitch angle. I doubt the Rotas are different. This above information is likely incorrect.

I too am using the stock lugs on my battles. 15,000 miles of HARD driving and all is well.
