Default can't get full boost... uppipe?

so i got a uppipe put in and yesterday i was driving and reliezed i can only hit 0.7bar (10psi). does this mean i have a uppipe leak? i can't really hear and leaking sounds.

anyone have a little bit of time to help me find my problem? i have an autox tomrrow and it would be nice to be able to get full boost. if anyone can help let me know. i will drive to your house.

have you touched the stock boost lines? they may be in a wrong order...I screwed this up before and boost was regulated through the wastegate at about 9psi for me. I'm referring to the T connection from the turbo nipple to the wastegate to the ecu. IIRC the hose connecting to the turbo nipple should have a little brass thing-a-ma-jig in it.

im not really sure of the fitting your talking about. is it the the vacum hose that goes from somewhere under the soleniod valve cover and T's off to the wastegate and to a nipple by the intake port of the turbo. what other hose would that be mistaken for or interchanged with?

the boost seems like its regulated somehow. it doesnt really get to .7 bar but right under so probably about 9 psi.

Thanks Mr. Freeze. that was the problem. i didnt think that would make a difference because its a vacum line, but it worked.

Jason

Ah, so you fell victim to one of the "classic blunders". Just make sure you don't wage a land war in Asia.
