I need some opinions and some help with this setup

Hi guys... well, I'm sick of this ghetto box in my trunk. I'm sick of having no trunk space and I'm sick of having the box move all over the place. Now that I got a new job that equals a little more $ every month, I'm finally going to have some custom thing done. The current equipment I have is 1 JL Audio 12W3 sub and 1 JL Audio 250/1 amp. I was thinking about getting another pair so I'll have 2 12W3's and 2 250/1 amps (1 to power each sub). Here is where I need some help...

I'm not looking for anything crazy loud where you can hear me coming from 10 blocks away. The current setup I have with the 1 12W3 and 1 250/1 amp is ok. It bumps pretty nice, but I wish it were a tad louder. Do you think this setup will give me what I'm looking for? A few people told me to go for 2 500/1 amps to power those 2 subs, but I don't know... that might be a little too much for me. Any ideas if the setup I'm thinking of will give me what I want? Thanks.
