Question Where should i take my car in a for a new PAINT JOB?

Wondering, if i do get a WRX, most likely, i'll give it a new paint job. Do you guys recommend any companies in the Southern CAlifornia area?

How much would a complete paint job cost btw? NOt a MACCO quality paint job, i'm talking about something good here.

Just got my car back, the bill totaled just under $10,000.00 (no joke) My car had acid spilled on it at work, and they had to replace all of the plastic parts and some of the glass. The car goes back in in a few days to re-do the sideskirts, spoiler, and rear bumper lip.

10,000 and you didn't get it painted something other than wrb? It looks like every other wrx out there. You could of had an awesome custom job for that much.

In Socal you can get a full interior/exterior paint job (not including the actual engine bay though, just the underside of the hood, frame and fender area), for anywhere from 2000 to 4000. I know a good shop that can do it using all PPG materials for 2500. Email me at wrx@importvenom.com if you're interested. BTW, a good paint job can take up to a month to do.

honda slayer- , yes it is 10k Canadian.

pwrphrk- , it is a little darker than the factory blue, I was thinking of getting an orange colour like the APC car, but I plan to keep the car for a few years.... And I don't think it would be cool for a 30 year old to be rollin in a orange suby.

also, Importvenom is right, a proper job can take a while to do, the shop had my car for 16 days, with two guys prepping and detailing it the whole time. The shop told me that they put "teams" on some of their bigger jobs.

try this link to get to the album on imagestation... http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290215473

i agree, to go it right, i was quoted around 4500 usd for a full paint over using custom color paint. 5000 if you want to get all
the nicks out of it before painting. i forgot the name of the shop, but it was in newport beach area. shucks....cant ember the name... but they do mercedes and bmw as well. lead-time
2 weeks. it was one of the more expensive ones.

some places out in Gardena quoted me 2500-3000usd and they too said they would fix any panel dents before painting it. they
seem to be a reputable shop, but i didnt want to risk them
running my car. lead-time 2 weeks.

so anywhere from 2500- 5000 is realistic (USD).
