Unhappy Really NEED Help from an 03 WRXowner!

Hey Guys\Gals,

Please Please, I need some help here. I just installed a new intake pipe and I accidentally pulled out some vacuum hoses removing the old part so if someone can help me out with a picture, sketch or basic diagram of how the purge control solenoid valve evaporation hoses are connected I would be forever grateful.

The purge control solenoid valve is mounted on the intake to the left (facing the car) of center on the intake manifold, it is held on by one 12mm bolt and has a brass bracket. It has two hoses and an electrical connection. The hoses lead into a T junction, go to the intake manifold and to the intake pipe coming from the airbox and tie into the fuel rail. I just happened to see a guy with an '02 wagon while I was testing but his setup looks a little different.

My car is running like $hit and I have to get to work in the morning.

Default Thanks

I am in East Orlando - Thanks for the hella nice offer but I was able to make it to work where my friend has a wagon. Man did I have them all screwed up , car runs much better now! The intake pipe really makes a difference in throttle response. I did reset the ECU after I fixed up the hoses so it could start learning again. Anyway Teal, drop me a PM sometime. I am always looking for Scooby owners, especially WRX's, to meet.

Anyone reading this and who is thinking of installing the silicon intake pipe from BPM, MRT or AVO, it is a @%#^$**&*&@^. Unless you are planning on removing the intake manifold, be prepared to bust up your OE part because there is NO WAY to get it out without breaking it!!

I will throw up some pics to show the intake installed.
