I was chasing down some rattles in my '97 OB Wagon, and taking apart some trim in the back cargo area. At the rear of the roof, there's a plastic trim piece that spans the width of the cargo area. It has three approx 1" plastic plugs in it that can be popped out, and they each cover a threaded hole in the steel of the roof. They look to be for a pretty good sized bolt.
Any idea what these are for? They're just in front of the back window, so they're way too far aft for a dog gate (except maybe a Chihuahua sized one)... maybe for child seat anchors or ??? Thanks for any info. Steve

Yup, they're for child seat tether anchors.
