Is it your turbo kicking in? Are you talking about turbo lag?

What would Scooby do?

Default

I have the exact same situation, infact, I have it plotted on a dyno print out. Somewhere around 3300 - 3700 the engine seems to hesitate and then pick up. I have my ECU flashed (sub zero) by Shiv and he tried to tune it out, but couldn't. He thought the ECU was trying to be overly conservative and protect the car from knock.

I have 7600 miles on my '03 and other than that it runs great. If you don't have any mods, take it back to the dealer and see what they have to say, I would do it but I am at stage 1 now.

Good luck!

Jim
